India has highest number blind population in the world and about 75% of these cases are avoidable, if proper care is taken on time. Individuals with vision impairment are more likely to experience restrictions in their independence, mobility, and educational achievement, as well as an increased risk off all, fractures, injuries, poor mental health, cognitive deficits, and social isolation.
Driven by right-to-sight mission, our Eye care program was started in the 2017, at the very start of our NGO and regular weekly OPD is conducted by a team of specialists Optometrist which is held at Kurla, Mumbra and Govandi. Regular Eye Camps are also conducted at Schools and Madrasas. We would provide free Eye- glasses to the under-privileged individuals and students who cannot afford to buy the Eye-glasses and highly discounted Eye-glasses to those who can afford. If anyone of the patients requires further treatment and surgeries, we will refer them to the hospitals, where they will get free treatment and surgeries.
